Carpenters Without Borders (Carpinteros sin Fronteras) is a certified national and state non-profit organization whose goals are to teach woodworking, tree husbandry, and marketing with emphasis on environmental awareness, tree farming, and artisan craftsmanship using precious indigenous wood.

We believe in respect for ecosphere resources; trees being a most valuable resource, people being another.

Grow a Forest, Build an Economy

Guatemala, like many tropical countries, has lost 70% of its forests in the last 40 years. This is a direct result of the lack of economic opportunity for local residents and the lack of sustainable forest practices. CWB/CSF is working on solutions to both of these problems.
